PageMaps Challenge

Running a little late so I'll post credits tomorrow!

Edited to add: Ok, that's better! I was not happy with the first layout around the main photo. It just wasn't saying "complete" to me. So I changed the brush work and made the orange photo corner a brown one. Oh, and I added my shadows - so it's much more complete now! And it's much more "me". Credits are as follows:

Peppermint Creative "Pimp My Page" Challenge

I did this layout for the "Pimp My Page" Challenge at Peppermint Creative. I love templates! But also love that they are so flexible! I rotated this one on it's side and eliminated a couple paper pieces because I thought that the swoop of mini circles and stars was enough on that side of the paper.

Other things that I love about digital:
* if it's not the right colour ~ change it
* if it's embellishment is too big ~ make it smaller
* if you'd like one more small pink star ~ copy and paste one in
* if you change your mind about the colour of the background paper after you've put all your other elements on top of it ~ change it!

It's just that flexible and I will definitely be 100% digital in the next few years.

The picture is from my little girl's first soccer game. She doesn't enjoy playing soccer but she's good at it - figure that out. At least she does enjoy going to dance class - what princess doesn't?

I did this 6x12 layout for the challenge at PageMaps blog. PageMaps is such a great scrapbooking tool! I've been using Becky's layout ideas for a while now and it amazes me that she comes out with different so many great layouts month after month.
